Privacy Policy

Modernsalestraining.com understands that your privacy is important to you. We are committed to protecting the privacy and security of your personal information. Our Privacy Policy identifies how we treat your personal and non-personal information.

What Is Non-Personal Information and How Is It Collected and Used?

Non-personal information is information that cannot identify you. If you visit this web site to read information, such as information about one of our services, we may collect certain non-personal information about you from your computer's web browser. Because non-personal information cannot identify you or be tied to you in any way, there are no restrictions on the ways that we can use or share non-personal information.

What Is Personal Information and How Is It Collected?

Personal information is collected in the following ways:

When you send us an application or other form
When you conduct a transaction with us, our affiliates, or others
When we collect information about you in support of a transaction, such as credit card information
In some places on this web site you have the opportunity to send us personal information about yourself, to elect to receive particular information, or to participate in an activity

Submitted Contact Requests and Visitor Analytics

When you submit the Contact Us form, a limited copy of your submitted answers may be linked to your visit's anonymous identifier to help us handle your inquiry. This copy is stored privately in visitor analytics for up to 30 days. This feature does not capture unfinished form typing, and its session recordings continue to mask form values. The contact form's normal request delivery is separate and follows the other information-handling practices described in this policy.

Company-Level Website Analytics

We use Leadfeeder (Web Visitors) to suggest organizations that may be visiting our website, using network and website request information such as IP addresses, page activity and generic form-submit events. Leadfeeder uses analytics cookies in its standard tracking configuration. A suggested company does not verify an individual visitor's identity or employment. Leadfeeder form field/answer collection is disabled; this integration does not send Contact Us form answers. Our loader honors browser Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals and a saved analytics-denied choice. For information about the provider's data practices, see Leadfeeder's privacy information.

When enabled, our private visitor dashboard also uses IPLocate to identify the organization or service associated with a visitor's network. At the start of a recorded visit, our server may send the request's IP address to IPLocate. We retain only a possible organization name, domain and network category with the anonymous visit for up to 30 days; we do not retain the full IP address or IPLocate's raw response in visitor analytics. A keyed daily digest temporarily avoids repeat lookups. Business network matches are suggestions, and home internet, VPN, relay and hosting connections may identify a service provider rather than an employer. This feature does not identify a person, add a visitor cookie, or send form answers to IPLocate, and it follows the recording feature's privacy-signal and saved-choice restrictions. See IPLocate's privacy information.

A first-party browser-exclusion cookie may remember a request to omit that browser from visitor analytics for up to one year. The exclusion also uses a saved local browser choice. It does not contain contact details or an IP address; clearing browser cookies and storage can remove the browser exclusion.

The owner can also exclude an exact public network address for all devices sharing that address. A private, website-specific keyed digest is used for this exclusion; the raw address is not saved in the exclusion registry or visitor dashboard. A first-party check runs before analytics providers load and does not create a visit or save a browser choice for other devices on an excluded network. If the public network address changes, the owner must set up that network again. A network label or exclusion does not identify an individual.

Are Cookies or Other Technologies Used to Collect Personal Information?

Yes, we may use cookies and related technologies, such as web beacons, to collect information on our web site. A cookie is a very small text file that a web site saves to your computer's hard disk to store information that you provide about yourself or to store your preferences.

Third party vendors also may use cookies on our web site. For instance, we may contract with third parties who will use cookies on our web site to track and analyze anonymous usage and volume statistical information from our visitors and members.

You have the ability to accept or decline cookies. Most Web browsers automatically accept cookies, but you can usually modify your browser setting to decline cookies if you prefer. If you choose to decline cookies, you may not be able to fully experience the interactive features of this or other web sites you visit.

We may also remove your personal identifiers (your name, email address, social security number, etc.) and maintain the remaining data for use in product and service development and improvement.

We may cooperate with law enforcement authorities in investigating and prosecuting web site visitors who violate our rules or engage in behavior which is harmful to other visitors (or illegal).
