If you make plan stick to it, you planned to call 20 prospects in one hour do it, don’t full around because you will make 10 in hour. Also, don’t do it just to count that you have done it, do it focused, with passion, having closing as final stop in your mind all the time.

I purchased this course, along with cold calling on foot as I want to market my own business but the thought of prospecting terrifies me. Well, the course assures me I’m not alone!
I do feel that I now have enough tools and confidence to go and sell my services.
I have made a comment regarding repetition but this refers to repetition between the two courses, not in isolation.
As a Udemy instructor myself (and trainer) I thought the presentation was excellent and I also picked up a fee tips in this area.
Time to start visiting pubs and restaurants next week to market my Udemy Food Safety course and auditing services. Still a bit terrified but also excited by the prospect.
I’ll definitely be purchasing more courses in the future.

I have been on Udemy for 4 years. I love the format, it’s a great way to learn new things. My issue with courses like the ones on Udemy is that after a few lessons, I start to get distracted and never really finish the courses I started.
I am currently self-employed, doing Web Design & Photography, but was recently head-hunted for an office based B2B Sales role in a very exciting IT company here in the UK. And I fancied applying. I obviously must sell in my current job to make a living, but my customers generally call me and it’s a B2C format.
So I decided to take Derek course, to get an idea of what cold calling sales are. Not only did I watch the course from beginning to end, but I also did not check my phone or computer once! I took 3 A4 pages full of notes and followed the sections excited to know what was next! Derek is clear and engaging and makes it very easy to remember all the various points.
So here you go, 5 stars for this course and would give you more if I could! And, I have now actually purchased 3 more courses from you, just to be able to brush up on my sales technique and storm that interview in 3 days!

I found the course very useful, to the point and compressed. There is no unnecessary additional stuff, just cold calling knowledge. What is more important to me. I am positively surprised by Derek’s responsiveness. He prepared some small assignments to complete with the course and gave his feedback in just a couple of hours. It speaks a lot about him because customer service or ‘post-sale’ customer service is usually non-existent for most of services and products (‘you just give us your money and leave please’).
